The resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are only short drives away and offer a multitude of beach, shopping, dining and entertainment options. Its is also well situated for travel to other towns and attractions. The nearest beach resort is San Pedro de Alcantara. The beach is wide and sandy and very safe for families. A lot of Spanish people use the resort. It is an easy 15-minute drive from the apartment, and you can park free right on the beach front. There is several beachfront cafes and restaurants to suit a variety of tastes and budgets. The town of San Pedro is well worth a wander around and has plentiful bars, cafes and shops. Estepona is around 30 minutes from the apartment and is worth visiting. The beach is fabulous here. Estepona is famous for its old town with a myriad of streets all festooned with vivid flowers.
